The PALS Curriculum identifies eight types of learners:
  1. Linguistic Learner
  2. Logical/Mathematical Learner
  3. Visual/Spatial Learner
  4. Musical/Rhythmic Learner
  5. Bodily/Kinesthetic Learner
  6. Interpersonal Learner
  7. Intrapersonal Learner
  8. Naturalist
The following tables show how each of the eight types of learners solve problems, how they're likely to act in learning settings and how the PALS Curriculum might be best adapted to meet their learning style.

1. Linguistic Learner

2.Logical/Mathematical Learner

  • Diagrams, pictures, designs, and symbols.

  • Uses body gestures and physical movement to express himself/herself.

7. Intrapersonal Learner

  • Meta-cognitive processing or thinking.
